Structure Interactions.

The degree work is about exploring knitted bindings in terms of colour and texture. How textures created by different bindings affect the colour. Can colours mix within the texture or change based on perspective? Then exploring the expression in the interaction between these elements. Showcasing these interactions through motifs of moving forms and structural lines. I wanted the forms to loop around the lines and have them to play off each other.

Knitted on Stoll ADF and CMS industrial knitting machines.
